Internal Sales Executive – Compliance Services for Planning & Building Regulations
Location: Borehamwood office
Salary: Base salary with a generous, uncapped commission structure
On-Target Earnings (OTE): £40,000–£70,000+
About The Company
They are a fast-growing specialist consultancy supporting developers, architects, and contractors in meeting planning and building regulation requirements. They deliver services such as SAP Calculations, Overheating Assessments, Air Tightness Testing, and Sound Testing. With strong demand across the UK, we’re looking for a sharp, results-driven Sales Executive to help accelerate our growth.
The Opportunity
This is a high-performance sales role for someone who thrives on hitting targets, generating their own leads, and earning strong commissions based on results. You’ll be responsible for outbound activity, owning your pipeline, and converting opportunities into sales. While you’ll operate with autonomy, the team are also a close-knit, respectful team. The company looking for someone who’s commercially sharp but also professional, positive, and easy to work with.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive outbound sales through high-volume calls and emails
• Build and manage your own pipeline of prospects and clients
• Promote our compliance services to developers, architects, and contractors
• Understand client needs and communicate how we support planning and building control approval
• Hit and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs
• Keep accurate records in our CRM system
• Work constructively with our operational team to ensure seamless delivery
What We’re Looking For
• Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in construction, property, or compliance services
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
• Confident in cold outreach – phone and email – with strong objection-handling skills
• Self-motivated and ambitious, with a clear drive to earn
• Commercially sharp, professional, and calm under pressure
• Independent mindset but respectful, reliable, and a good team player
• Familiarity with planning permission or building regulations is a bonus (training provided)
