Summary
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join our team based in Barrow upon Trent. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid background in MIG welding and fabrication who is looking to grow within a supportive and well-established company.
Key Responsibilities:
• MIG welding and fabricating steel components from engineering drawings
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and weld symbols
• Using hand and power tools including grinders, drills, and screw guns
• Setting up jigs and fixtures to complete high-quality weldments
• Performing quality checks and documenting any defects or rework
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment
• Communicating effectively with management to prioritise workflow
What We’re Looking For:
• MIG welding experience in a workshop or manufacturing setting
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Positive, team-focused attitude with good communication skills
• Relevant vocational training or welding certifications preferred
