Crynodeb
To provide Level 2 specialist continence advice and information for children, young people and their carers. To work autonomously, coordinating the management of continence problems for children and young people whilst promoting multi-agency working and education too improve continence for children and young people from 4yrs 18yrs (or 19yrs in Special Schools.) To function as a clinical practitioner within the Childrens Continence Team. To deliver direct patient care whilst, managing, co-ordinating and overseeing nursing practice. To ensure that there is efficient and effective utilisation of all resources required to deliver optimum quality care to children, young people and their families who access the Childrens Continence Service. A commitment to service improvement in line with best practice, current research and commissioning intentions. To deputise for the Childrens Continence Team Lead. To contribute to the review and updating of service policies and procedures.
