Crynodeb
The post holder will work as a member of the Midwifery Safeguarding team to support the delivery of services to staff involved in the safeguarding of unborn/babies and children, including supporting liaison between hospital and community services. The post holder will act as a resource for members of the multidisciplinary team and facilitate an environment of learning to promote the development of staff, and will also support Mandatory Safeguarding training and safeguarding children supervision. The post holder is responsible for implementing national recommendations and guidance for good practice in conjunction with the Named Midwife for Safeguarding. Convey and present highly complex and sensitive information written and verbal, formally and informally as appropriate. Ensure that when applicable information is maintained and kept in an appropriate place. The post holder will work in conjunction with the Trust wide Safeguarding Team to deliver a high quality service of safeguarding expertise to the Trust. They will provide professional advice, support and education to the multi-professional team, patient and carers and ensure that the Trust meets statutory safeguarding requirements.'
