Crynodeb
Clean and tidy areas assigned to you at least once per shift. In conjunction with domestic staff, ensure that the cleanliness of the ward and staff areas meet the standards set by Matron / Senior Sister. Ensure all faulty equipment is decontaminated and relevant documentation completed before being sent for repair. Ensure adequate supplies of clean linen are available and that stock levels are maintained as required. Respect patients privacy and dignity at all times. Participate in the provision of a level of customer care, relevant to the needs of patients and carers. Contribute to the promotion of a safe working environment and participate in Moving and Handling including equipment and stock and Fire Safety practices. In conjunction with the ward staff, contribute to the reduction of hospital acquired infection by ensuring that all infection control standards for ward and personal hygiene are maintained.
