We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist in Urological Oncology to join our Cancer Care team. This role is a based in our Oncology wing at our main hospital in Central London. We are offering a competitive salary of £50,713 - £60,848 per annum plus a fantastic array of benefits. We are currently expanding our Uro-Oncology service and require a dynamic, self-directed and compassionate CNS with solid experience within the specialty to provide keyworker support for our patients. You will be working alongside our current Uro-Oncology CNS who is highly experienced, friendly and welcoming. About us: The London Clinic is one of the UK's largest independently owned non-profit hospital, and we have been providing exceptional care since 1932. We have 8 premises, where we perform highly complex procedures as well as routine surgery & medicine. Our main hospital spans 8 floors comprising of 234 beds and 10 theatres, and The Duchess of Devonshire Wing is our award-winning cancer centre, which includes state-of-the-art radiotherapy, chemotherapy suites and 47 dedicated patient bedrooms for Oncology & Haematology patients. Job Profile: As one of two Uro-Oncology CNS's, you will provide expert information, clinical support and guidance to patients undergoing diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for all urological cancer diagnoses. Working within a highly skilled multidisciplinary team of surgeons, oncologists, nurses and allied health professionals, you will play a key role in delivering individualised, evidence-based care whilst optimising support for patients and their care partners through every step of their cancer journey, in the essential capacity as their keyworker and advocate. Job Type: This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week. Hours: Monday-Friday Salary: £50,713 - £60,848 Location: The Duchess of Devonshire Wing, 22 Devonshire Place, London, W1G 6JG Benefits package: Contributory pension scheme (total annual contribution up to 20%). Empower patients by providing specialist advice, education, and emotional support to patients and their chosen care partners. Lead on the development of person-centred care plans, ensuring high standards of care. Work collaboratively with oncologists, surgeons, and allied health professionals to optimise patient care and outcomes. Contribute to service development, research, and quality improvement initiatives. About You Registered Nurse (NMC) with extensive experience in Oncology/Urological cancer. Proven expertise as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (or trainee CNS) or in an Advanced Practice Role. Strong leadership, communication, autonomy and decision-making skills. Team player who enhances the team through their commitment, collaboration, enthusiasm and 'can do' philosophy. Passionate about delivering holistic, patient-centred care.
