An exciting opportunity has risen for an experienced finance professional to join our team, we are looking for a confident and personable Finance Manager to lead and manage the effective running of the Finance Department and contribute to the ongoing success of our financially secure college.
Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for producing monthly and annual accounts, overseeing budgets and forecasts, managing statutory returns, and ensuring strong internal controls and cashflow management. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires both technical expertise and strong communication skills. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, translating complex financial information into clear insights to support informed decision-making across the organisation. You will also be managing a small finance team fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent) with at least 2-4 years’ post-qualification experience. You’ll bring a strong track record in financial reporting, budgeting, and team leadership.
This will be a full time, permanent position and will be based at our Watford campus.
