Your new company

Your new role
As Production Planner you will create and revise detailed production schedules based on customer orders and forecasts from commercial teams, taking into account production capacity and other factors to ensure the plan is optimised and achievable.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be proven in a similar role, with examples of having improved Production Planning processes and outcomes. You will be comfortable as the link between shop floor production teams, and the office based planning and commercial functions. You will be a confident communicator, and able to handle detail and complexity while providing clear recommendations and plans to the business. You will have strong technical and IT skills including advanced Excel. Any experience of system upgrades (eg MRP / ERP implementation or upgrades) is a distinct advantage, particularly with a well-recognised system such as SAP Business One or MS Dynamics 365 Business Central. You will be familiar with relevant metrics (output, efficiency, inventory) and be able to use data to spot opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost reductions.

Primarily on-site but with some flexibility for WFH 1 day a week once established within the business. Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week with some flexibility regarding start / finish times eg 08.00-16.00 / 8.30 - 16.30) with a 30 min unpaid break.
