Liverpool City Council is seeking a skilled and confident Targeted Services Team Manager to lead a dedicated team within our Youth Justice Prevention services. This business-critical role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people across the city.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of social workers and targeted services officers.
Coordinate and supervise resources, staff, and workload under the guidance of the Head of Service.
Ensure service delivery complies with the LCC Employment Code of Practice, Health & Safety regulations, and all relevant council policies.
Promote early intervention and prevention principles, supporting young people and families through youth justice strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
Significant experience in Youth Justice or Early Help at a senior level.
Proven team leadership skills and the ability to manage resources in a high-pressure environment.
Strong commitment to safeguarding and delivering effective, person-centred interventions.
A clear understanding of regulatory frameworks and local authority responsibilities.
