Worcestershire County Council is seeking an organised and adaptable Business Support Officer to join the Children’s Services team, providing essential cover during a period of long-term sickness. This is your opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, problem-solving environment supporting senior managers and frontline services.
What You’ll Do:
Deliver timely and effective business support to senior managers and service areas within Children's Services.
Take the lead on delegated administrative activity specific to service needs.
Support a variety of tasks including data analysis, project support, minute taking, and report writing.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in line with Data Protection legislation.
Balance independence with teamwork in a hybrid-working setting.
What We’re Looking For:
GCSEs (Grades A–C) in English and Maths, or equivalent experience.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
A commitment to high standards of confidentiality, discretion, and time management.
Clear, confident communication skills and the ability to prioritise workload with ease.
