SALARY RANGE: £25,000–£28,000 p.a. + Performance-Based Incentives
JOB PURPOSE
Micronclean is a market leader in cleanroom solutions, offering a wide range of services to industries where contamination control
is critical. As part of our growth strategy, we are looking for a dynamic and driven Sales Co-ordinator with a strong focus on
telesales and lead generation to help identify, qualify, and convert sales opportunities into long-term customers.
This is a proactive sales role that combines outbound telephone sales, CRM system administration, and sales project support.
You’ll play a key role in generating new business opportunities, nurturing early-stage leads, and helping build a robust sales
pipeline for our field sales/account management team. The role is ideal for someone with a passion for customer interaction and a
results-oriented mindset, as it is central to driving Micronclean’s growth strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO):
Outbound Calling and Lead Generation
* Making high-volume outbound calls to prospective customers from supplied or self-sourced lists across various sectors to
promote Micronclean’s products and services, engaging with decision-makers, and qualifying prospects using consultative
questioning.
* Building long-term relationships with prospects through follow-up emails, reminder calls, and value-driven contact, ensuring
Micronclean remains top-of-mind.
Lead Nurturing and CRM Management
* Maintaining detailed records of all interactions/calls within the CRM system, accurately and efficiently
* Adding new prospects to the CRM to feed into the sales funnel.
* Tracking competitor information and purchasing decisions to schedule timely follow-ups.
Appointment Setting and Opportunity Development
* Booking qualified appointments for Business Development Managers and Technical Sales Specialists.
* Tailoring emails and messaging to industry-specific pain points, clearly and confidently offering Micronclean solutions.
* Using objection-handling techniques to overcome barriers and keep prospects engaged.
Sales Campaigns and Follow-Ups
* Executing specific telesales campaigns aligned with marketing initiatives (e.g., new product launches, strategic focus areas).
* Following up on inbound sales enquiries and marketing-generated leads.
* Supporting ad hoc campaigns, promotions, and post-trade show/exhibition activities.
Performance Tracking and Reporting
* Maintaining a consistent volume of daily outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn).
* Achieving/exceeding agreed targets for activity levels and appointments booked.
* Providing reports to Senior Management as requested.
KEY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:
* Experience in a Business to Business telesales/lead generation role.
* Personable nature; confident communicating via phone and email.
* Ability to quickly understand technical product benefits and communicate value propositions.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
* Resilient, self-motivated, and target-driven.
The successful candidate will be able to manage daily administrative tasks, prioritise their workload, and understand the
importance of timely customer follow-up. Although this is a remote role, there will be regular travel to our offices in Skegness
and Louth (which may involve overnight stays) for quarterly team meetings, training sessions, and other company events throughout
the year.
You’ll be a highly self-motivated sales professional, able to demonstrate a successful track record ideally gained in a
Business-to-Business (B2B) environment. You’ll also possess a proven ability to generate new business and develop long-term
relationships. An ambitious self-starter, you’ll be seeking a career opportunity within an organisation that will invest in you
and offer opportunities to progress beyond this role, if desired.
Full training will be provided. Due to the Head Office location, the successful candidate must be prepared to spend significant
time in Lincolnshire during the first 3 months for training purposes.
Closing date for applications: Friday 27th June
First round interview date: Week commencing 30th June 2025 on Teams
Second round interviews: Week commencing 14th July 2025 in Skegness
We reserve the right to close this vacancy early, or change the closing date, if we receive a sufficient number of applications.
Therefore, if you are interested, please submit your application as early as possible.
