About the role

This is an amazing opportunity for a time served Electrical Engineer to join our talented team based in Glasgow!

The role is a double day shift position and will start on an initial contact.

You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of efficient and effective maintenance, repair, problem solving and improvement of assets and their availability across the site.

This role will allow you to work closely with site personnel to ensure all maintenance is effectively developed and delivered and to provide feedback on relative improvements across the site.

You'll implement & develop maintenance programmes that support and improve asset performance and utilisation.

You'll be responsible for promptly and appropriately responding to plant breakdowns and to secure & repair the root cause to minimise downtime.

You'll accurately and timely record & report any outcome of plant maintenance issues via SAP to ensure best practise has been shared.

Health & safety compliance and high-quality standards are key for this role and you'll be expected to adhere to statutory and company requirements.

You'll have the drive to make a positive difference to manufacturing excellence and use your excellent analytical skills to solve problems.

You'll be a time served Electrical Engineer with the relevant qualifications and have demonstrable knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and environmental risk principles.
