Your New Job
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join the team on a full-time, temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them achieve their full potential. You will:
- Support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
- Work with children with SEMH, behavioural challenges, and additional learning needs
- Deliver targeted interventions and assist with individual education plans (IEPs)
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
What You'll Need to Succeed
- A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working in a primary school or SEMH setting
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
