We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our team, as a BDM, you’ll be responsible for maximising sales and driving the growth of Luxaflex products within your assigned territory. This will be a remote working position looking after the Midlands area. This includes recruiting and onboarding new Dealers, while training and supporting both new and existing accounts. You'll be the key link between Luxaflex and our Dealers, helping them increase their sales through hands-on support, product training, and business development planning.
This role also involves supporting a wide customer base – from independent furnishing businesses to national accounts like John Lewis.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive sales performance by coaching, developing, and supporting Dealers.
Recruit and train new Dealers, launching them into our Alliance Program.
Provide hands-on support for product surveys (blinds, shutters, awnings).
Analyse customer sales data and implement strategies to improve performance.
Launch new products effectively and drive market adoption.
Maintain brand integrity and ensure all Dealers follow Luxaflex guidelines.
Collaborate with accounts and credit control to manage financial arrangements.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in a sales/business development role is essential.
In-depth knowledge of window blinds, shutters, and awnings is desirable.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Hands-on approach with excellent time management and planning ability.
Commercial awareness and the ability to influence Dealer sales strategies.
Comfortable with regular travel within your assigned territory.
