As an Evidential Review Officer, you will play a vital part in our investigative process by reviewing evidential material and case files to ensure they meet the standards required for prosecution. Working closely with investigators, officers, and legal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review case files and evidence for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
• Provide feedback and guidance to officers to improve file quality and evidential presentation.
• Liaise with the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) and other partners to ensure cases progress efficiently.
• Ensure disclosure obligations are met and documented appropriately.
• Support investigations by identifying evidential gaps and recommending further actions.

• Knowledge of criminal law and criminal justice system.
• Experience in evidence handling, case building, or working with criminal justice systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Effective communication and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
