Job title: Quality Control (QC) Lead
Location: Yorkshire/Humber
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Work hours: 37.5
Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a Quality Control (QC) Lead on behalf of a global CDMO organization.
Role purpose:
Lead the QC team, overseeing the setup, compliance (EHS and Quality) and ongoing operation of the QC laboratory, including:
QC Lab suitability
QC Organization
QC Equipment/Systems
Analytical Method Transfer and Validation
QC Quality System
Key accountabilities:
Set up and maintenance of the QC lab for Raw Material, IPC, Product testing, sample and retain management
Support qualification of the QC Equipment/Systems and transfer/validation of test methods
Implement Safe systems of working within the laboratories
Implement robust business processes and procedures
Set up short and long term goals, including activity plans for the QC lab and teams
Active on laboratory workflow optimization/LBMS (Lean)
Provision of safe working environment through risk management principles
Maintain laboratory hygiene and housekeeping
Oversee QC Testing and release
Oversee applicable sampling and third party laboratory activities
Responsible for QC internal and external communications
Key requirements:
Technical experience within GMP QC laboratory environment, including project management, equipment/system/method qualification/validation and tech transfer
Focus on high quality; good at planning, organizing and communication.
Empowerment, motivating others and development direction
Uses knowledge of their business area and related areas to make correct and timely decisions
Understands how to effectively engage others within project/change processes
Champions and role models the values of diversity and inclusion through everyday interactions in groups or 1:1s
Develops budgets and resource plans
