Day PA's for 33 y/o Bristol man FTE

LocationStoke Gifford, Bristol.
Shifts AvailableEvery Monday 09:00 - 21:00.Every Tuesday 09:00 - 21:00.Every Friday 09:00 - 21:00.
Pay£15.00 per hour on Weekdays.£34.00 per hour on Bank Holidays.Plus optional urgent last minute cover at double pay.
Personal Assistant's needed, to support a 32-year-old male, who has Muscular Dystrophy (wheelchair user). The client works & runs a blog. The client lives with his 2 young children & friendly Labrador dog. The clients children have a Nanny, to facilitate parental role & won't be your responsibility. The client enjoys music, going to concerts, cinema or spending time with friends & family.
The client requires full 1-to-1 support with day-to-day care needs from a competent team of PA’s, as directed by the client. The ideal candidate would be positive, understand the role and take a person centred approach to care.
Requirements- DBS Check (can be provided).- UK Driver's Licence (preferred).- Online training (provided).
Duties- Toileting.- Washing, dressing & oral hygiene.- Moving & handling.- Transfers with ceiling hoist (x1 PA).- Meds administration & digital MAR/Comms.- Food prep/support with eating & drinking.- Domestic tasks i.e. cleaning, tidying & washing etc.- Support with social & work events.- Driving wheelchair accessible vehicle.
