Candidate sought for Trainee role for Career in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Industry.
Trent Refrigeration & Air Conditioning is a company based in Nottingham, East Midlands that provides specialist Refrigeration & Air Conditioning support to the Retail, Restaurant and Food Production & Domestic Sectors.
Our customer base ranges between larger nationals to smaller businesses to domestics. Working on equipment ranging from smaller light commercial to larger pack systems & VRF. This is a multi-skilled roll that covers installs to maintenance to breakdowns.
You would be expected to become part of a small team and assist an engineer in their day to day role. You are expected to be able to attend our works unit (NG12 3UL) and/or Engineers addresses at the start of each working day. Working hours will vary and flexibility is required. However standard contracted hours are 9am to 5pm.
Training is provided both onsite and via a course. We provide hands-on intense training on all aspects of Refrigeration & Air Conditioning. Progression is performance based and strong candidates will go on to be awards their F GAS Certification, Electrical Training Courses & Level 2 City & Guilds in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
The right candidate would be somebody who is interested in a career in the Engineering Services Sector. Fluency in English is essential as well as good communication skills as you will be interacting with a wide variety of customers in different industries. A pragmatic approach to learning is crucial, it is not enough to just turn up. You will be expected to keep a training log, revise notes and actively push your own understanding on a daily basis.
Upon completion of their training you can expect to pay to scale with performance & competency and provide you a long and stable career as a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer. Within an established company that prides itself on looking after its people.
