Immediate Start – Additional Hours for Experienced Healthcare Assistant
We’re offering an immediate start for an experienced Healthcare Assistant looking to pick up extra hours in a beautifully maintained care home that supports up to 60 residents. The home specialises in caring for individuals with age-related conditions such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s, making your role essential in supporting both their physical and mental well-being.
As a Healthcare Assistant, you’ll assist residents with daily tasks including hygiene, mobility, and nutrition. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment by completing housekeeping duties, following health and safety protocols, and accurately reporting any changes in residents’ conditions or incidents to senior staff.
If you take pride in making a meaningful difference in the lives of others, we’d love to hear from you.
To be suitable for this position you must have:
- An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
- Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving and Handling training
- A Referenceable work history
- Proof of full vaccinated status against Covid-19
- At least 3 months experience within a similar setting
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!

This role offers ongoing opportunities for the right candidate
The hours available to you will be 06:45 to 14:30 with hours available on various days from Monday to Sunday
Rate of pay is £12.35 per hour
