Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
Required for 1 January 2026 or sooner, the Trustees are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, experienced Science teacher to lead a Key Stage or a Science subject within our Free school, which opened to Year 7 only in September 2022 and in September 2025 will have students in Y7 – 10. The ability to teach Science up to GCSE is essential and the ability to teach to A level desirable, a physics specialist is desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will be a joining the team of highly experienced Science teachers within the School who work collaboratively with staff at Barton Court Grammar School.
The successful candidate should be able to deliver excellence in the classroom, providing innovative and inspirational teaching and learning. This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to work with colleagues to be part of a vibrant and outstanding department. This post is suitable for an experienced professional looking to further their expertise.
