Job Title: Temporary Archiving and Filing Assistant
Location: BB4 6HH, Rawtenstall
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 15:00 PM
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Temporary Archiving and Filing Assistant to help manage and preserve our historical company records. This role involves sorting, cataloging, and filing documents to ensure they are easily accessible and properly maintained.
Key Responsibilities: Document Sorting: Review and sort historical documents and records. Cataloging: Create and update an inventory of archived materials on Excel. Filing: Organise and file documents in both physical and digital formats. Data Entry: Input relevant information into the companys archive Excel. Preservation: Ensure the proper handling and storage of delicate and valuable records. Compliance: Adhere to company policies and legal requirements regarding document management and data protection. Assistance: Provide support to the records management team as needed. Physical Tasks: Assist with the moving of archived boxes ( up to 11kg ). Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Requirements: Ability to lift and move boxes of documents. Comfortable working in a storage environment. Basic DBS GDPR training desireable but not essential Any similar work experience is desirable
