Location: Bedfordshire

Contract: Sessional, Hourly Paid

Hours: 4 hours per week - Thursdays, 09.00 to 13.15

Contract Duration: September to December







Morgan Hunt is proud to be working with a college group in the Bedfordshire area , who are currently seeking a Lecturer in Psychology and Criminal Behaviours to join their care, childcare and Counselling department on a sessional basis.






About the Role

This role offers a rewarding opportunity to deliver high-quality teaching within Higher Education and to support students in developing their knowledge of psychology and criminal behaviour. You will:



  • Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across HE Social Studies courses, ensuring alignment with awarding body standards.
  • Support student progress through regular reviews, tailored feedback, and academic guidance.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, designing dynamic resources and integrating vocational elements.
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold quality assurance standards in line with college policies.
  • Engage in continuous professional development, and adhere to safeguarding, equality, and health and safety regulations.



About You

To be considered for this role, you should have:



  • A Master's degree in Forensic Psychology or Psychology with a forensic focus.
  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE).
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Experience teaching and assessing in Psychology or related subjects, preferably within an FE or HE environment.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • A student-centred approach with a commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and positive learner outcomes.
