Crynodeb
Alongside running a one stop haematuria service, the post holder will partake in a 1-in-7 Registrar of the week rota (0800-1700), alongside the rest of the on call team which consist of a Consultant of the Week (who has all other elective activity cancelled), 2 Urology SHOs (covering Wards and Emergency Department), 1 FY1 and 1 Physicians Assistant. The overnight/weekend on call comprises of a 1-in-7, 24/7 middle grade rota - compliant with EWTD and the 2018 Junior Doctors Contract as stipulated by NHS Employers. The department is busy, but is friendly and welcoming and committed to training. This role is ideal for progression through to higher specialist urological training.
