Contract: Full Time Salary: £12.21 Per Hour Shift Type: Days Contracted hours: 30Dalgety Bay Care Home is a luxury, purpose built home located in the heart of the community. With first class facilities and a warm, supportive atmosphere, we provide exceptional Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care for our residents.
We are now looking for a dependable and caring Domestic Assistant to join our team. Your role will be essential in making sure the home is always clean, comfortable and welcoming — a place where our residents feel truly at home.
What we offer:
- £12.21 per hour
- 30 contracted hours per week
- Paid PVG, pension scheme, free uniform and onsite parking
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Your role:
As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a key part in the daily life of the home by ensuring all areas are kept clean and safe to the highest standards. From residents’ rooms and communal spaces to bathrooms and laundry areas, your attention to detail and consistent approach will help create a homely and pleasant environment.
You will carry out routine cleaning tasks, manage refuse disposal, support laundry duties and restock supplies, all while maintaining high hygiene standards and following health and safety procedures. Working as part of a wider team, you will contribute to a calm and respectful atmosphere that helps residents feel secure and valued.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable and takes pride in their work. Previous experience in a domestic or cleaning role is helpful, but not essential — full training will be given. More importantly, we are seeking someone with a kind attitude, strong work ethic and a desire to support others.
