We are looking for an experienced supervisor to manage the day to day running of our newly built school library, which houses fiction and non-fiction books for the senior school, as well as a suite of computers for pupil use and areas for reading and studying. In addition to taking control of the usual book management responsibilities and maintaining a suitable working atmosphere, we are looking for someone who is able to provide support for individual pupils and monitor their progress, as well as running timetabled reading groups for Years 7 and 8 and older EAL students. The successful candidate will also assist academic staff using the library with groups of pupils. This is an exciting role and a key function of our busy school.A willingness to be involved in the extra-curricular life of this busy boarding school is required.• Free meal while on duty during term time.
