Based at our Primary site, Sheridan Road, BS7 0PU32.5h/wk - Mon-Fri 8.30am-3.30pmTerm time only + 5 INSET days Fixed term contract - 02/09/25-31/08/26We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic LSA to provide 1:1 support for learning activities for a KS1 child on an individual basis in our Primary department. Experience of working with Deaf or hard of hearing children and young people is advantageous, but not essential. Elmfield is a maintained Bristol special school for pupils aged 3-16 years which serves the Bristol and wider region. We have been consistently judged as 'Good' by Ofsted. Ofsted recognises that we are 'ambitious for pupils' and 'aspirational in our outlook'. Pupils have deafness as a primary need, some with additional Special Educational Needs, and we provide a Bilingual Deaf Education where BSL and English are used. Experience working with children with a range of additional needs will be an advantage.We are looking for someone who is:
