Teaching Assistant Level 2 (Part time 8.30-4.00 3 days)
Acacias is a good school with a very supportive staff team who have high expectations for themselves, their colleagues and their pupils. We have a proven track history of supporting our teaching assistants (TAs) onto professional careers including teaching, educational psychology etc. We are looking for an excellent teaching assistant to join our TA team. This post would be particularly suitable for someone with a degree or with existing TA experience.
Experience of working with children, degree or Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification (or equivalent); excellent numeracy and literacy skills are essential, as well as good communication skills and the ability to relate to people. Applications from graduates without a teaching assistant qualification will be considered. This role would be particularly suitable for a graduate looking to gain experience prior to starting teacher training or an ECT.
