YOUR CORE PURPOSE WILL BE:
Develop departmental standards and procedures to promote sales and beverage creativity and profit. Assist management in the development and communication of departmental strategies and goals.
Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, team members and hotel assets in compliance with the hotels’ or owner’s policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
Comply with legislation and local laws regarding health, safety and alcohol services.
Communicate and enforce policies and procedures.
Promote teamwork and ensure staff are properly trained in quality and service standards. Educate and train all team members in compliance with governmental regulations.
Ensure security and proper storage of food and beverage products, inventory and equipment, and replenish supplies in a timely and efficient manner while minimizing waste.
Demonstrate service attributes in accordance with industry expectations and company standards to include:
Being attentive to guests
Accurately and promptly fulfilling guest requests
Understand and anticipate guest needs
Maintain a high level of knowledge which will enhance the guest experience
Demonstrate a service attitude that exceeds expectations
Take appropriate action to resolve guest complaints
Appreciate the dynamic nature of the hotel industry and extend these service attributes to all internal customers.
Be able to promote the hotel products and services.
Ensure known repeat guests, priority members and other VIP’s receive special attention.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:
Previous experience of a management role.
A strong Food & Beverage background.
Customer service experience.
Ability to work as part of a diverse team with colleagues from different viewpoints, cultures and countries
