We’re working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Wolverhampton to recruit a Geography Graduate Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate who’s passionate about geography and ready to support students both inside and outside the classroom.

    What You’ll Be Doing:
    • Support students in KS3 and KS4 geography lessons


    • Assist with lesson planning, resource creation, and case study discussions


    • Deliver 1:1 and small-group academic support to help raise attainment


    • Encourage critical thinking, curiosity, and global awareness


    • Help maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment


    • Contribute to geography clubs, field trips, and enrichment activities


    • Collaborate with teaching staff to support engaging, high-quality geography education


      Who We’re Looking For:
      • A graduate with a 2:1 or higher in Geography, Environmental Science, or a closely related subject


      • Passionate about geography education and youth development


      • Strong communicator with a proactive and adaptable approach


      • Ideally some experience working with young people (e.g. mentoring, tutoring, volunteering)


      • Interested in pursuing teacher training or a longer-term career in education
