HGV Mechanic (Bournemouth)

Key Responsibilities of an HGV Mechanic

• Service and repair HGV vehicles to high standards
• Diagnose and fix faults using mechanical and electrical systems
• Ensure all repairs are completed efficiently and accurately
• Work well within a team to maintain workshop productivity
• Record work clearly and follow workshop processes
• Stay up to date through ongoing training

Skills and Qualifications for an HGV Mechanic
Essential

• Previous experience as an HGV Mechanic
• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities

Desirable

• HGV Class 1 licence
• Positive, proactive attitude
• Team player with clear communication skills
