Through cutting-edge research initiatives, hands-on learning opportunities, strategic partnerships, civic leadership, and skills delivery, we will empower individuals to thrive in an ever-changing world.
As part of REE, the Professional Development Team plays a key role in delivering high-quality Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities across all three UWE Bristol colleges. We support a diverse range of learners, from individuals undertaking credit-bearing courses and standalone UWE modules to those enrolling in short courses designed to enhance professional skills.
In addition to supporting individual learners, the team collaborates with businesses across the region to develop and deliver bespoke training packages that address specific industry needs. Our work ensures that professionals at all career stages can access the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving job market.
This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, including managing course bookings, maintaining student records, compiling key course data, and ensuring the smooth delivery of professional development programmes. Professional Development Administrators will work closely with academic teams and external clients, providing high-quality administrative support and ensuring a seamless learner journey. As part of the Professional Development Team, this role will also contribute to process improvements, reporting, and stakeholder engagement, helping to enhance the overall effectiveness of our CPD offering.
About you
This is a dynamic role that requires exceptional organisational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment. You should be comfortable managing multiple tasks, adapting to changing priorities, and working both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential, as you will be the first point of contact for enquirers and students, ensuring they receive timely, accurate, and supportive guidance. A problem-solving mindset and a willingness to improve processes will also be valuable in helping to enhance the overall learner experience.
Where is this role based?
This post is based at our lively Glenside campus where we have invested in the latest facilities and resources to give both our staff and students access to everything they need to succeed.
