Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and well-organised graduate to join the Student Recruitment and Outreach team at Aston University as a Student Recruitment Officer (UK Home). You will play a key role in the organisation of events, representing the University at HE Fairs and conventions around the country, visiting schools/colleges in your region and developing your student recruitment strategy.

This post presents an ideal opportunity for a graduate with existing experience in student recruitment to further their career at a University that continues to go from strength to strength.

You will have a good honours degree together with excellent communication and organisational skills and a commitment to the benefits of Higher Education. Applicants must be willing to undertake extensive travel across the UK, including overnight stays and must hold a UK driving license. A driving licence is essential, but if you are unable to fulfil this requirement due to (for example) health issues then please contact us for a discussion.

A satisfactory DBS clearance is required for this post.

The salary being offered for this role is below the minimum threshold for required to sponsor new applicants to the Skilled Worker route. However, Aston University may be able to sponsor the successful candidate if they:
• Are under 26 years old
• Hold a PhD that is relevant to the role
• Have held a Student or Graduate visa in the last 2 years
• Are already in the UK with a Tier 2 or Skilled Worker visa issued before April 4th 2024
