We are seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant (RA) to contribute to a collaborative research project funded by the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC). The project focuses on the development of advanced micro/nano-electromechanical systems integrated with quantum technologies, in partnership with leading external research institutions.
The successful candidate, based at Swansea University, will work closely with consortium partners to support the realisation and characterisation of semiconductor materials incorporating defect centres.
Applicants should hold a postgraduate degree in electronic engineering, chemistry, or physics, and possess experience in semiconductor research and/or the characterisation of electronic or photonic devices. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with collaborators across institutions are essential.
