There is an exciting opportunity to join Bellway, one of the UK’s largest house builders. Our Head Office located in Woolsington, Newcastle is looking to recruit a Group Social Media Coordinator on a fixed-term basis for 14 months.
The Role
The role of Social Media Coordinator (Group Head Office) is to assist with the creation and implementation of content across multiple social media channels for Bellway and Ashberry Homes, ensuring consistent messaging and branding across platforms.
With a passion for social media and knowledge of major media platforms, you will be working under, and reporting to the Senior Social Media Coordinator, where you will be developing a range of social media strategies, including responsibility for maintaining of the Ashberry Homes Facebook and Instagram pages. With a willingness to travel to developments and divisional offices, you will liaise with the wider marketing and sales teams, supporting Group and Divisional content.
Principal accountabilities of the role include:
Work closely with the Senior Social Media Coordinator to help create, deliver, monitor and review content across social media channels.
Collaborate with influencers and build up a rapport with Bellway home owners to further the company organic reach.
Be able and confident in responding to social media messages, comments, and reviews and ensure they are sent to the correct division / department.
Use of Photoshop and Canva with strong editing skills of video, photography and written content.
Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.
Capture and edit original content on-site at our developments to create reels for social media including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn.
Devise new and creative ways to engage, grow followers and boost brand awareness across platforms.
Organise and host Bellway influencer / ambassador events to help with brand awareness and creating a community amongst our followers.
Stay updated on social media trends, and best practices to optimise content and engagement strategies, including planning the content calendar to align with marketing campaigns.
Report to the team on successful campaigns, key metrics, results, analytics and advise and train on capturing effective content to the wider company.
Manage relationships with external agencies such as PR, designers, media, influencers and photographers.
Experience, Qualifications and Skills
Experience
Experience of working in a Social Media Team with a proven track record of success.
Experience of developing effective Social Media campaigns across a wide range of online channels, including TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.
A good understanding of Photoshop and Canva for creating social media content, editing video, images and copy and dispatching creative.
Experience of using social media management tools and workflow systems such as Iconosquare or equivalent.
Knowlege of working within the construction or property sector is desirable.
Qualifications and Training
Degree in digital marketing or relevant qualification is desirable.
Professional chartered marketer (CIM) is desirable.
Skills and Aptitude
Excellent digital, content creation, analytical and written skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Experience in communicating and working with a wide range of stakeholders.
Ability to think creatively and deliver successful social media campaigns.
Event organising and account management of ambassadors and influencers.
Work effectively to deadlines and on multiple tasks simultaneously.
Enthusiastic, positive, and motivated with a flexible approach to work.
Proficient use of IT systems including social media channels including TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram.
The Role and Working Conditions
Office based role that includes regular travel, when required.
Willing to be flexible in respect to day to day duties and hours worked.
