A lovely family based in Camden, London, is looking for a reliable, experienced, and enthusiastic English-speaking after-school nanny to care for their two school-aged children. The role involves all general nanny duties, with an emphasis on supporting primary-level homework and fostering positive daily routines. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, well-organised, and educationally focused. A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 2:30 pm to 8:00 pm. (22 hours per week), Babysitting: 1 to 2 evenings per week (8:00 pm, midnight), Additional hours available on Sundays (full day)
Duties include:
Actively and creatively engage with the children through imaginative indoor games and outdoor adventures
Spend quality time building genuine connections with the children
Maintain high levels of physical and mental energy to keep up with the children's curiosity, enthusiasm, and daily routines
Foster a nurturing and supportive environment by offering consistent affection, patience, and emotional warmth
Plan and organise enriching activities that promote learning through play
Support with school pick-ups
Assist with homework and educational tasks, making learning enjoyable and productive
Encourage the children’s confidence, independence, and resilience to help them build a strong sense of self
