Sapphire-Minton Nursery is seeking a Nursery Manager with a minimum of level 3 qualification in a UK recognised early years qualification. Previous experience in a similar role or deputy nursery management is desirable.
We are looking for a dedicated individual who is interested in the opportunity to lead a supportive team; a natural leader who is highly motivated, organised, enthusiastic and creative.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective day-to-day management and organisation of the nursery. Core duties will include:
• Planning and delivering a stimulating and age-appropriate curriculum aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and our school’s nursery curriculum.
• Monitoring, assessing, and reporting on children’s progress and development.
• Leading, supporting, and motivating nursery staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality learning experiences.
• Creating and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
• Acting as the main point of contact for parents, including leading parent meetings and providing regular updates on children’s development.
The ideal candidate will have:
• A thorough understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
• Proven experience in delivering effective whole-class carpet sessions and high-quality early years teaching.
• A track record of successful planning, preparation, assessment, and progress tracking.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
