Personal Assistant – Lancaster LILS/EM/AB2
We have a vacancy available for a Personal Assistant to provide support for a lady to enable her to access the community.
Our client loves the outdoors and walking so it’s very important the applicant enjoys walking. She also has a keen interest in rock climbing as is able to teach the skills required to be competent if the applicant would like the opportunity to learn.
As a Personal Assistant your duties will include supporting with:
• Ensuring our client is safe when out in town
• Help route planning for journeys on the bus/train including realistic journeys within the timeframe available
• Help with confidence building so possibly one day our client could independently access the community
We are looking for a caring, proactive and motivated individual with a passion for supporting others.
It is important the applicant has excellent communication skills and is honest.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential, but a positive attitude and good work ethic is essential.
This is a part time position for 18 hours per week with an hourly rate of £13.00 plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and workplace pension scheme.
There is a requirement to work 1 full day of 8.5hrs every week and the rest of the hours can be worked flexibly. There will need to be a mutual agreement with both our client and applicant as to which days/times work best for everyone.
