We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team working together to deliver catered events. There may also be shifts available for you to take on working in our catering outlets across campus.
In this role you will join the team working together to deliver the catering required at events, especially during graduation week (week beginning 30 June 2025).
The main areas of work will be our event venues, Elphinstone Hall, The Linklater Rooms and The Kings College Centre and also possibly in our outlets in the food court in the Student Union, and our cafes on the Old Aberdeen and Foresterhill campuses.
Campus Services is committed to offering customers high quality food and service and requires commitment and a high level of customer care from all its team members.
You will be required to provide high quality work and ensure the highest standards of service are delivered and maintained. You will also need to demonstrate a positive attitude to further training and professional development, and a flexible approach to location of work and the tasks involved.
The successful candidate should have previous catering experience, preferably in the table service of food & drink as well as from a catering counter. They will work well both independently and as part of a team, be well organised and able to use their initiative. They will have good communication and customer service skills and be able to work effectively under pressure at peak trading times.
Salary will be at the appropriate point on Grade 1, £24,215 per annum pro rata (£12.75 per hour).
