Trailer Technician
Location: Loughborough
Basic Salary: £45,000 per annum
OTE: £52,000 with overtime
Hours: Monday to Friday Day Shift or 4 on 4 off (6:00 am – 6:00 pm)

Join a leading team as a Trailer Technician, carrying out inspections, servicing, and repairs to the highest industry standards, ensuring compliance and safety at all times.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform detailed inspections, servicing, and repairs on trailers
• Diagnose and resolve issues using EBS systems such as HALDEX, WABCO, and KNORR BREMSE
• Accurately complete compliance documentation
• Work to tight deadlines while delivering high-quality repairs and excellent customer service
• Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
• Participate in training courses, including IRTEC and axle/brake manufacturer training
Skills and Qualifications
Essential
• Semi-trailer or heavy vehicle experience
• Industry-standard qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ
Desirable
• HGV Class 1 driving licence
• IRTEC accreditation
• EBS diagnostics experience (Knorr Bremse, Haldex, WABCO)
• Welding certification
• Experience with BPW, SAF, or JOST axle manufacturers
• Tail lift, double deck, or lifting deck maintenance experience
