This role focuses on a range of PFI projects across the UK, primarily in the South of England. While some remote working is possible, regular travel to client sites will be required.

Key Responsibilities

-Act as the commercial and contractual lead for your projects, supporting strategic growth and profitability.

-Lead on all commercial matters including benchmarking, market testing, sub-contract negotiations, contract variations, claims, and complex commercial discussions.

-Manage risk and opportunity across your portfolio, working with operational teams to develop and implement effective action plans.

-Support operational and support teams through training, audits, deliverables tracking, and sharing best practices to enhance commercial capability.

-Monitor and report on PFI deduction mechanisms, ensuring compliance with output specifications and KPI requirements.

-Prepare commercial reviews and position papers for escalated issues and risks.

-Ensure all governance processes are followed for documentation and approvals.

-Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and legal advisors to ensure smooth project delivery.

-Support senior leadership with strategic initiatives and ad-hoc projects as required.

What We're Looking For

-Strong experience in commercial management, ideally within PFI or a similar environment.

-In-depth knowledge of PFI contracts, payment mechanisms, and value testing.

-Proven ability to deliver commercial solutions that reduce risk and unlock value.

-Skilled in stakeholder management, negotiation, and dispute resolution.

-Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

-Confident communicator with excellent influencing and leadership abilities.

-Business-aware, innovative, and committed to continuous improvement.

If you're ready to bring your commercial expertise to a role where you can make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you!
