Summary
Scope of Work:
To carry Install, terminating, glanding and other industrial electrical work on site in Llanberis, Northwest Wales, the temporary electrician will support the delivery of electrical services on-site, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, test, and commission electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, control panels, and emergency systems.
• Perform reactive and planned maintenance as required on electrical infrastructure.
• Diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems and equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with current IEE wiring regulations (BS 7671).
• Work safely and adhere to all health and safety procedures, including site-specific protocols.
• Complete job sheets, reports, and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Liaise with site supervisors, clients, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.
Essential Requirements:
• Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
• Gold ECS Card.
• Proven experience in installation and maintenance work in commercial, industrial, or construction settings.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and best practices.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Own tools and full UK driving licence (if travel is required).
Preferred Qualifications
• Test and Inspection qualification.
• Experience in temporary site power or project-specific setups.
• IPAF and Gold ECS certification.
• Power station or Utility substation experience
