Crynodeb
The post holder will Have RC responsibilities for up to 12 male inpatients detained on restricted and unrestricted sections of the MHA Provide access assessments on behalf of the West Yorkshire secure provider collaborative. Provide risk assessment and management advice for colleagues in acute services. It is anticipated that the frequency of assessments would be about 2 per month. Provide excellent clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team to stabilise acute mental illness and manage risk. Service users will have divergent pathways including remission to prison, transfer to the rehabilitation ward and in some cases direct discharge to the community. Deliver high quality efficient and effective care for service users working in a trauma informed collaborative way. Teach, train and supervise junior medical staff and other professionals Comply with the requirements of the GMC and Royal College of Psychiatrists The post holder will join the Leeds and York Partnership Foundation Trust general adult on-call rota and will be third on-call.
