Crynodeb
Demonstrate a high degree of proficiency and clinical acumen in relation to decision making skills, to inform clinical reasoning approaches when dealing with differentiated and undifferentiated presentations and complex situations; synthesising information from multiple sources to make appropriate, evidence-based judgements and/or diagnoses, treating, discharging, referring to alternative specialities or escalating cares as required. The post holder will undertake autonomous clinical practice and will lead the Nurse practitioner team to work autonomously as diagnostic practitioners, undertaking nurse-led independent assessments and initial management of patients referred to the breast service and to manage caseloads independently on behalf of the breast surgeons. Provide highly visible and accessible professional leadership and demonstrate expert knowledge and standards of clinical practice. Actively facilitates the clinical supervision and wellbeing support of peers, trainee ACPs, and other members of the MDT or students as required within services. Provide strategic, clinical and operational leadership and advice ensuring effective and safe delivery of services for patients referred to the Breast team. Actively participate in Advanced Clinical Practice Grand Round to promote multi-professional and disciplinary learning.
