Wilmington Academy has an exciting opportunity to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team from September 2025. If you are seeking to join a highly successful academy and wish to provide high quality teaching support to our students, this is the perfect role for you!
Our successful candidate will provide support for pupils who have a range of specific needs; an opportunity to make a real difference to their development. Applicants should be adaptable, personable and committed to providing an excellent service on behalf of the school and wider Trust, and above all else our appointed candidate will have a positive work ethic and can-do attitude. Experience of working with young people with SEMH/SLCN and also delivering small group interventions would be desirable.
This is a permanent opportunity, offering an actual salary of £20,990 per annum (£24,404 full-time equivalent) based on 37 hours per week, Term Time + 1 week of inset.
CALLING ALL GRADUATES! This role is ideal for recent Graduates who are looking to embark on Teacher Training. This role will provide you with first hand exposure to working in a school setting.
