CNC & Machine Shop Setter Operator (Full Time 39 hours per week) (Permanent)
Solid Swivel Company Ltd, Cradley Heath, would like to recruit an experienced CNC & Machine Shop Setter Operator.
Established in 1910 the Company has a long history of manufacturing quality engineered products here in the midlands and is a renowned local employer.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
• Programming and Setting-up of CNC milling machines and Lathes for safe operation.
• Occasional Setting-up and safe operation of conventional drilling, milling, turning, threading and other machining processes.
• Checking of components against Engineering Drawings and/or work instructions after machining.
• Undertaking training as required for the role.
Relevant (Preferred) Knowledge & Experience:
• General setting & operating of conventional drilling, milling, turning, threading processes.
• XYZ Lathes (XYZ Controller)
• Mazak VMC – 4 axis (Mazatrol Controller)
• Leadwell VMC – 4 axis (Mitsubishi Controller)
• Deckel Maho DMC (Heidenhain Controller)
• CAD/CAM applications & software
• Fork Lift Truck Driving
Hourly Rate - Dependent upon knowledge and experience.
36 days holiday per year.
