Crynodeb
We are looking for a responsible person for Day to day production in both a Packhouse and Field Work environment.
The applicant needs to ensure that customer orders are accurately fulfilled and are packed to a high standard.
• Their other duties and responsibilities include:
• Undertake all aspects of production including preparation and harvesting.
Prepare orders for dispatch accurately and to a timescale.
• Packing, weighing & ticketing product
• Using machinery to move goods from storage areas to packaging areas
• Inspecting goods before they are packed
• Using packaging materials, such as cardboard & plastic boxes, wooden pallets to
safely and securely package goods
• Completing paperwork to allow orders to be traced
• Following health and safety policies and procedures in the warehouse/Field
• Required to lift/carry items.
• Working hours and workloads vary according to the crop and season.
• Flexibility is essential, for example before bank holidays, with longer hours at
harvest times.
• Working in varying weather conditions inside and outside,
• Being able to bend and lift.
• Any other duties commensurate with your role and responsibilities.
• Harvesters and Packers are responsible for working in a health and safety
compliant way in the warehouse and field
• Operating and working machinery in Packhouse/ Field
• Keeping the work area clean and safe.
• Other Packhouse/ Farm work as required.
• Reporting any problems/concerns to supervisor/manager.
• Ensuring H&S and hygiene is maintained across the site.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Training will be provided.
