Summary
Our client urgently requires a Traffic Marshall to work for a local company based in Corby.
Hours are Monday to Friday 07.00-17.00pm.
Additional hours will be required of 1-2 shifts of 07.00-19.00pm.
Candidates must have a CSCS card and experience is essential for this role.
Main job duties involve -
* Directing Traffic: Guiding vehicles to designated areas, ensuring smooth traffic flow, and preventing congestion.
Ensuring Safety: Monitoring traffic, identifying potential hazards, and taking action to prevent accidents.
Communication: Communicating with drivers, pedestrians, and site personnel via hand signals, radios, or other methods.
Site Management: Implementing traffic management plans, setting up traffic cones and barriers, and maintaining order on the site.
Security: Monitoring for suspicious behavior and reporting any security concerns.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Knowledge of traffic regulations and safety protocols.
* Effective communication skills.
* Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
* Experience in traffic management or a related field.
* Traffic marshal certification (CSCS card).
