What skills and experience we're looking for
The successful applicant must have:
• Excellent standards of Numeracy and Literacy
• Recent experience of working with SEN pupils
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of child development
What the school offers its staff
The Governors of this successful primary academy are looking to appoint a 1 to 1 Teaching Assistant to work alongside and support a child with learning difficulties, including complex and multiple learning, behavioural, sensory or physical difficulties. The successful candidate will work under the direction of our SENCO and the Class Teacher. Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience of working 1 to 1, but this is not essential. This is a fixed term post pending the continuation of ECHP support.
