Summary

About the role

Are you looking for a challenging role that will help to contribute to public services in Bury. We are recruiting for two Digital & Technology Change partners that sit within the Digital Data and Technology (DDaT) section of Bury Council. They will be key liaison points between technologists and senior stakeholders to drive business thinking on how to achieve technological advantage.

The ideal candidate will have skills in business analysis and project management. The role will be expected to matrix manage Business Analysts, Service Designers, IT Project Managers and Project Officers on specific projects.

You will need to bring energy and enthusiasm to creating and proactively leading change initiatives in a complex environment at pace. Each role will work with senior stakeholders within either the Housing or Children's Services Departments assisting them with their strategic planning to transform their services with a focus on cost reduction and improvements in customer satisfaction.

Local government experience and knowledge of either Social Housing or Children's social care reform would be an advantage.

Normal hours of work are 37 hours per week based around the usual business working week. You will be based at Bury Town Hall on site for 2 days a week or where projects require.
