32.5 hours/week, term time onlyWe are looking for enthusiastic and aspiring HLTAs to support our Teachers in delivering high quality learning across HWPS. We have one vacancy covering Reception year and one to work across key stages 1 and 2.The ideal candidates will have a passion and desire to make a real contribution to the learning and development of our pupils, delivering learning to whole classes. Support will be provided and a willingness to undertake relevant training is essential.To become an effective HLTA, the role requires the following qualities:Proactive and positive attitudeFlexible, resilient and calm approachhigh expectations of self and pupilsexcellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skillscommitted to working as part of a teamunderstands and shares the School’s vision and aims for all of pupilsdedicated and committed to the success of the school.The working pattern is Monday - Friday, term time only (38 weeks/year) and ideally 8.30am-3.30pm. The actual starting salary is from £19,915 p.a.Following our recent Ofsted (March 2024), this is an exciting time to join our School and Partnership.Behaviour is impeccable. Pupils are joyful, polite and considerate, respecting the views of others. The behaviour approach is well understood, and ensures a positive learning environment.
